our INSPIRATION
Our Grandparents built their home in the Cairngorms in 1977 and named it 'Rowanhill'.
This house has gone on to be the loving family 'home-from-home' for four generations of our extended Ross family clan.
It's the one place that we all feel completely welcome and at one with the world.
Granny's homemade buns and pancakes always ready for our arrival and Grandpa's "secret" chocolate drawer in his desk were the start of our belief that 'food is love'. You combine that with the endless summers of us playing post office as children and you end up with the hospitality and business acumen that we now share as adults.

Twenty years of combined experience looking after private and corporate guests both at home in the Scotch Whisky Industry and abroad onboard International Cruise Ships.
Professional, authentic and imaginative; all qualities that we share and value. We place importance on empathy, social harmony and cooperation resulting in a strong rooted desire to do everything we can to exceed expectations, not just for our guests and clients but also our trusted local suppliers and partners.
HOME IN THE HIGHLANDS
It took travelling the world for us to realise that we have everything we could ever need right here, at home in the Highlands.
Growing up we never appreciated that our favourite home-cooked meals prepared by our Granny, were all the better for the beautiful local produce she used. From the hand picked rhubarb in her crumble to the sausages only ever bought from the local butchers, never a supermarket.
Some may say it's an old fashioned, community spirited approach to grocery shopping, however, we feel that it represents true Scottish hospitality that is very much thriving across the highlands.
We have amazing local produce, an abundance of gin and whisky distilleries, the freshest seafood, adrenalin fuelled adventure sports, wild and majestic landscapes and to top it all off, five star luxury accommodation.
